Female swordfish are the ones that can be pregnant. They are ovoviviparous, which means they carry their eggs inside their bodies until they hatch, and then give birth to live young. Male swordfish do not get pregnant. **

A swordfish can grow to be quite large, with the average weight ranging from 200 to 600 pounds. However, some swordfish have been known to reach weights of over 1,000 pounds. These powerful and fast-swimming fish are known for their long, sword-like bills and are prized by anglers for their size and fighting ability. **

Swordfish populations are currently facing overfishing and depletion in many areas around the world, including here. This has led to concerns about the sustainability of swordfish fisheries and the need for better management practices to ensure their long-term survival. In response, there have been efforts to implement stricter regulations and conservation measures to protect swordfish populations and promote sustainable fishing practices. It is important for fishermen and authorities to work together to ensure that swordfish stocks are managed responsibly to prevent further decline. **

Dolphins, penguins, and swordfish are all aquatic animals that live in the ocean. They are all highly adapted to their marine environments, with streamlined bodies that allow them to move efficiently through the water. Additionally, they are all carnivorous, feeding on a diet of fish and other marine organisms. These animals also have unique adaptations that allow them to thrive in their respective ocean habitats, such as the ability of dolphins and penguins to regulate their body temperature in cold waters, and the swordfish's long, pointed bill for hunting prey. **

Your swordfish may have a huge belly due to overfeeding or a diet high in fatty foods. Swordfish are known to be voracious eaters and can easily overeat, leading to a distended belly. Additionally, if the swordfish has recently consumed a large meal, its belly may appear enlarged. It's important to ensure that your swordfish is being fed an appropriate diet and not overfed to prevent health issues. **

Neon fish, mollies, and swordfish have different requirements in terms of water parameters, tank size, and behavior. Neon fish prefer soft, acidic water, while mollies thrive in slightly brackish water. Swordfish are large and active swimmers that need plenty of space. It is not recommended to keep these species together in the same aquarium as they have different needs and may not coexist peacefully. It is best to research each species' requirements and set up separate tanks if you wish to keep them. **
