The choux pastry cream puffs may not be successful for a few reasons. First, the choux pastry dough may not have been cooked enough, resulting in a soggy or collapsed puff. Additionally, the oven temperature may have been too high or too low, causing the puffs to not rise properly. Another reason could be that the eggs were not fully incorporated into the dough, leading to an uneven texture. Finally, the cream filling may have been too runny or too thick, affecting the overall taste and texture of the cream puffs. **

To clean a pot after using choux pastry, start by filling the pot with warm water and a small amount of dish soap. Let it soak for a few minutes to help loosen any stuck-on dough. Use a sponge or soft brush to gently scrub the pot, making sure to remove any remaining pastry residue. Rinse the pot thoroughly with warm water and dry it with a clean towel. Repeat the process if needed until the pot is clean. **

Choux pastry works without leavening agents because of its high moisture content and the way it is cooked. When the dough is cooked, the moisture in the dough turns into steam, causing the pastry to puff up and create hollow cavities inside. This gives choux pastry its characteristic light and airy texture without the need for additional leavening agents. Additionally, the high proportion of eggs in the dough helps to create structure and stability, allowing the pastry to rise and hold its shape during baking. **

To make choux pastry with water or milk, you will need the following ingredients: water or milk, butter, flour, salt, and eggs. To make the pastry with water, you will bring the water (or milk) and butter to a boil, then add the flour and salt and stir until a smooth dough forms. Then, you will gradually add the eggs, mixing until the dough is smooth and glossy. If using milk, you will follow the same process, but with milk instead of water. This versatile pastry can be used to make delicious treats such as cream puffs, eclairs, and beignets. **

If you are having problems with Dr. Oetker's choux pastry, there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue. First, make sure you are following the recipe instructions carefully and accurately, as choux pastry can be sensitive to changes in measurements and techniques. If the pastry is not rising properly, check that your oven temperature is accurate and that you are not opening the oven door too soon. Additionally, you can try adjusting the amount of eggs you are using, as this can affect the consistency of the pastry. If you are still having trouble, you can reach out to Dr. Oetker's customer service for further assistance. **
